Face: Manuel Javier Rodríguez Erdoíza (wearing the "Hussars of Death" uniform), part of the monument to Manuel Rodríguez Erdoíza by the Chilean sculptor Blanca Merino Lizana, displayed in Bustamante Park in Santiago.
Rodríguez Erdoíza, Chilean lawyer and guerrilla leader. He is considered one of the founders of independent Chile. He was killed on 26 May 1818 in Til-Til by soldiers of the "Cazadores de los Andes" battalion commanded by Antonio Navarro, after being imprisoned by order of O'Higgins

The Church of San Vicente Ferrer was a shelter used by Rodríguez Erdoíza during Chile’s battle for independence in the 1810s
