Country located in South Asia. Its territory is almost completely surrounded by India, except for a small strip to the southeast where it borders to Myanmar (Burma). Geographically, the country is situated in the fertile terrain of the Ganges delta, Therefore, it is subject to annual flooding caused by monsoons and cyclones.
Capital (and most populous city): Dhaka.

Currency: Taka (BDT). In 2000, Bangladesh introduced its first polymer banknote of 10 Taka. However, this banknote was not very appreciated and it was withdrawn soon from circulation
