How to start a collection?

Sometimes it is just pure coincidence.
But in general, a certain object (or objects) arouses our curiosity and interest and lead to the final decision to keep it or to follow and expand an initiated and inherited collection.
Maybe the beginning was a gift (or inheritance) of a friend, our parents or another relative or just an object or memory item that we did not throw away and we prefered to keep it.
A collection begins when we collect several objects of the same class.
As children, almost all of us have collected something. We have exchanged double objects with our classmates against pieces that were not interesting for them and which we lacked in our collection. Many of these collections were temporary or fashionable for a while or our interest has changed and possibly some of us have not continued for these or other reasons.
