Face: Lion Capital of Ashoka
- the official emblem of India. The capital was originally erected on the top of the Ashoka pillar at the important Buddhist site of Sarnath by the Emperor Ashoka. The Lion Capital is preserved at the Sarnath Museum, the column itself is still in its original location
